Two central defenders and a man for the outer track are already there – another new one for the midfield will soon be added? Eintracht Braunschweig apparently deals with a transfer by Lennard Becker. According to the club, the 19-year-old traveled to St. Johann in Tyrol on Friday.
The defensive midfielder most recently played for the U19 and for the regional league team of FC Bayern Munich. However, his contract with the German record champions expired at the end of the season. At Eintracht, he now wants to recommend himself in trial training.
In the past season, Becker came to 17 missions in the regional league and prepared two goals. The data portal “Transfermarkt.de” estimates its market value at 350,000 euros. The “kicker” had already reported on the interest of the Eintracht’s interest in the 1.90 meter tall center player at the end of June. Becker switched from the offspring of Dynamo Dresden to the Bayern Campus in 2022.
In the current transfer phase, the BTSV had already strengthened with the defense players Lukas Frenkert (Prussia Münster) and Frederik Jäkel (RB Leipzig) and with outdoor train player Mehmet Can Aydin (FC Schalke 04). In addition, there were the fixed obligations of the loans Ron-Thorben Hoffmann (goalkeeper) and Lino Tempelmann (midfield, both from Schalke 04).
The team is currently preparing for the new season in the training camp in Austria. In addition to the new additions, the NLZ players Abdel-Haq Awali (U19), Marko Rajkovacic, Maxim Root and Andrej Schlothauer (all U23) are also included. The team of coach Heiner Backhaus is in the training camp until July 12th. Click here for the complete preparatory plan.
