Jan Keizer finds it liberating that conservative Netherlands with today Inside has received a talk show in which that target group recognizes itself. “You can’t do anything in this country anymore!” He brands.

It is the most viewed talk show in our country: today Inside. The stars of the program, and in particular Johan Derksen, are quite in the conservative corner. And that is also something that appeals to the Volendam singer Jan Keizer. He likes that there is now also a counter -noise on national television.

Holy beans

Jan is a regular viewer of today Inside and also praises Albert Verlinde as a regular substitute by René van der Gijp. “Yes, he doesn’t talk nonsense. That also applies to Derksen. I think they are often right that you are not allowed to do anything in the Netherlands anymore,” he complains in the Weekend.

He continues: “We must not be so narrow -minded. I have also been a football player for years and we were not holy beans, but what is happening now … If someone is just looking for another, it is already wrong.”

Christmas

It is going in the wrong direction in this country, according to Jan. “I think all that is going too far. In the past, everyone was topless on the beach and there were mini skirts. Now everything is being covered to the head. We are no longer ourselves in the Netherlands. Zwarte Piet is abolished and Christmas is no longer allowed because of other beliefs. Too bad.”

Also on television people sometimes seem to get lost, he thinks. “Recently with the all -rounders VIPS they had to blow out candles and behaved like they had become world champions with football. What are we doing, boys?
