The Finn got a red card for Manchester United before the international break To Ella Ann Toone with a rough trick: Summanen was left holding his face after a dueling situation, when Toone had pushed him on the shoulder.
Judge Amy Fearn thought the ManU gambler’s slap in Summa’s face, so the judge dug out a Christmas card from his pocket.
Although Summanen managed to catch Toone out, ManU won the match 2–1. The Finn, who is comfortable in the midfield, played 90 minutes and received one yellow himself.
Later, the English FA overturned Toone’s red card and instead slapped Summane for filming two matches.
ManU leads the Superliga, Tottenham is ninth in the 12-team league.
