Eurozone retail sales stagnated in October. Compared to the previous month, they have not changed, as the European statistics office Eurostat announced on Thursday in Luxembourg. Economists on average had expected this. In September, sales rose by a revised 0.1 percent. Initially a decline of 0.1 percent was determined.

Compared to the same month last year, retail sales rose by 1.5 percent in the euro zone in October. An increase of 1.3 percent was expected here.
