According to reports from Adnkronos, the official announcement of the conducting cast of the 2022 edition of Eurovision will take place on the stage of the Ariston in Sanremo, probably in the second evening of the Festival, when Laura Pausini will be a guest of the festival. The agency also reports that for Alessandro Cattelan and Laura Pausini an agreement has already been reached, on the other hand, perhaps the presence of Mika is in doubt. In fact, rumors about Pausini and Mika had already circulated in recent days. Now Adn confirms, based on “well-informed sources”.
Because they were chosen
The choice of conductors would have been based not only on their artistic skills and on the notoriety of the characters but also on a fundamental element: the knowledge that all three have of the English language. This is not a negligible element if we consider that the Eurovision Song Contest is an international event that is very popular all over the world.
The Turin edition
The news on the choice of the hosts arrives during the handover between the mayor of Rotterdam (the city that hosted the previous edition with the triumph of the Maneskin) and the mayor of Turin.
