European champion Shanice van de Sanden got engaged. The 28-year-old, who won the European Championship title with the Netherlands in 2017, announced this on social networks. On Instagram, van de Sanden posted a photo of herself proposing to her partner Tatjana Jempormiasse on her knees.
Under a series of six photos, Jempormiasse commented: “Engaged to my forever.” She also added a ring emoji. The couple already has a daughter, who was born on November 21, 2023.
Van de Sanden is known from her time at VfL Wolfsburg from 2020 to 2022 in the Bundesliga. She then moved back to Liverpool FC, for whom she had already played from 2016 to 2017. Before her position at VfL, she worked at VfL from 2017 to 2020 Olympique Lyon played. There she won the triple twice championship, Cup and Champions League as well as the championship and the Champions League again. At the age of 16, she celebrated her debut for the national team.
