The Bundesliga handball teams Füchse Berlin, SG Flensburg-Handewitt and Frisch Auf Göppingen are all in the quarter-finals of the European League.

A week after convincing away wins in the round of 16 first legs, the trio also clinched safe wins at home. The games of the next round on the way to the Final Four in Flensburg will take place on April 11th and 18th.

After the 28:23 in the first leg at the Danish club Skjern Handbold, Bundesliga leaders Berlin didn’t let anything burn down in the 38:32 (21:18) in the Max-Schmeling-Halle.

Göppingen didn’t show any weakness after the clear victory at Valur Reykjavik (36:29) in their own hall and won 33:31 (18:15). Earlier in the evening, Flensburg had already won the second leg 33:28 (19:16) after the offensive spectacle in the first leg at Benfica Lisbon (39:26).

In the round of the top eight, the north Germans will meet the Spanish representative BM Granollers, Göppingen will have to deal with the Croatian runner-up RK Nexe Nasice, the foxes will compete with the Swiss champion Kadetten Schaffhausen.
