European gas price to highest level in six weeks amid fears of colder weather

The European gas price closed on Tuesday on the leading Amsterdam gas exchange at the highest level in six weeks. The increase was mainly driven by the forecast of colder weather in parts of northern Europe, increasing demand as heating is set to be turned up. Mild weather previously put pressure on gas prices.
