Guillaume Bianchi, Filippo Macchi, Tommaso Marini and Giulio Lombardi, after overcoming Great Britain in the quarterfinals (45-18) and the Russian team (acronym AIN) in the semifinals 45-43, beat France 45-22 in the final.

In the women’s epee, however, Rossella Fiamingo, Giulia Rizzi, Alberta Santuccio and Gaia Caforio first beat Great Britain (43-14) and Germany (36-14), then losing the semi-final with Hungary (38-30) and the bronze final against Ukraine (29-28) thus finishing in fourth place.
