Truck collides with railway bridge, disrupting train traffic in Amsterdam region

Train traffic on the Amsterdam Central – Haarlem routes and between Amsterdam, Schiphol and Hoofddorp was disrupted for a number of hours on Sunday evening, rail manager ProRail reports. The problem started around 8:15 PM and lasted for over 2 hours. The cause was a truck that crashed into the Singelgracht bridge on the west side of the city.
