European Commission engages National Bank of Belgium with corona recovery fund

The European Commission will involve the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) in financing “NextGenerationEU”, the EU’s recovery fund in response to the corona crisis. Together with the European Central Bank (ECB), the NBB will be involved in the bond package of more than 800 billion euros that is linked to the recovery plan.
