On the Olympic course in Oberschleißheim, one of the highlights of the European Rowing Championships will take place from 1:36 p.m.: After eight European Championship triumphs in a row and only fourth place in 2021, the Germany eight is fighting to resume its successful series. A total of eleven medal decisions are made in the north of Munich.
Only one decision is made in gymnastics: from 2 p.m. it is about the title in the women’s team competition.
In an oval on the exhibition grounds in the east of Munich, track cyclists race against each other. From 5:58 p.m., viewers will experience a five-pack in the final. It’s going to be spectacular on the Olympiaberg: at 7 p.m. the men’s BMX freestyle park competition is coming up. There are two rounds of one minute each, but only the best one counts.
There are two decisions to be made in sport climbing: from 4 p.m., first in the women’s lead. Lead is rope climbing, the most traditional discipline. Men’s bouldering begins at 5:30 p.m. Here you can climb to the jump height without a rope. Essen’s Yannick Flohé is one of the favorites.
The men’s individual starts at 4 p.m.: In the Olympic distance there is a 1.5 km swim, 40 km on the bike, followed by a 10 km run.
It’s just not about medals in table tennis. The artists with the small ball will contest the preliminary rounds in mixed and in both doubles from 10 a.m.
