Again without ex-world champion Mats Hummels, the Italian first division club AS Rome has reached the round of 16 in the Europa League.

In the playoff second leg against FC Porto, the team from the eternal city prevailed after the 1-1 in the first leg thanks to its Argentine match winners Paulo Dybala and overnight with 3: 2 (2: 1).
