EU leaders agree to an EU loan of 90 billion to Ukraine after opposition to the use of Russian assets

EU leaders have agreed on a joint EU loan of 90 billion euros to be channeled to Ukraine. “We have a deal,” European Council President António Costa said on X. The initial plan to use frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine out of financial trouble took too much time.
