EU closes migration deal with Tunisia, but is already encountering criticism: “People smugglers in particular will benefit”

The European Union and Tunisia have reached an agreement on migration. This was announced by a spokesperson for Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte. He flew to the North African country on Sunday, together with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, to clear the last obstacles.
