Essevee club icon Sammy Bossut’s contract will not be renewed
Anyone who says Sammy Bossut spontaneously thinks of the cup hero from the penalty shootout in the final against KV Oostende. He made his debut in 2006 in the European match against Newcastle, in the sixteenth final of the UEFA Cup. Bossut also went to the World Cup in Brazil as a red devil. He was under the bar in first class 417 times. Whether Bossut still has a future in football is not yet clear. He’s 37.
