Hong Kong-based clothing retailer Esprit Holdings Ltd. has appointed Konstantinos Balogiannis as Chief Commercial Officer of the group. The 48-year-old took up his new position this week, the company announced on Thursday.
Balogiannis joined Esprit last November and previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer for Europe and Global Business Development. He previously held various management positions at well-known clothing suppliers. According to Esprit, he was, among other things, Global Director of Wholesale at Bogner and Chief Operating Officer for Greater China at Tom Tailor.
Balogiannis commented on his promotion in a statement: “I am excited to take on this new role in the company and look forward to using my experience and knowledge for future-oriented management that is geared towards long-term growth,” he explained.
