Erzgebirge Aue wins derby at Dynamo Dresden, football | 2nd Bundesliga – MDR – Regional

In the first few minutes, the guests played cheeky. Substitute captain Dimitrij Nazarov rounded Paul Will and pulled the ball from 17 meters to the crossbar (4th). Only gradually did the black and yellow come into play. In which it was otherwise to the point. There was no sign of consideration for relegation or the end of the season in this derby.

Dynamo: Four chances in four minutes

Dynamo started slowly, but then really got going: Within just four minutes, Guerino Capretti’s team created four chances: Patrick Weihrauch missed the best one, who only hit the crossbar from eleven meters (25th). The old season problem of the hosts, who simply have no goal-getter apart from Christoph Daferner, made itself felt here again. Aue relied more on pinpricks when SGD goalkeeper Kevin Broll failed to grab a corner and had to save teammate Guram Giorbelidze just before the line (43′).

Dresden leaves a mega-chance – Aue takes the lead

After the break, the hosts had a mega-chance to make it 1-0: Will shot from 22 meters – Klewin was only able to parry the flutter ball, the ball bounced around in front of the line, but neither Daferner nor Drchal managed to get the rotating ball over exploit. Drchal literally ran over Daferner, from whose shoulder the ball flew towards the field – a crazy scene, almost typical for the Dynamo offensive (48th). And how it goes in football: Five minutes later, Dresden was behind. Ben Zolinksi let Giorbelidze step out on the right and crossed to the far post, where Nicolas Kühn artistically overcame Broll in the near post. After that, not too many good, constructive attacks came from Dresden. At the next best opportunity, a powerful header from ex-Auer Daferner, Klewin reacted quickly (65th).

Friday and Tuesday against Kaiserslautern

Now it’s time for the Dresdeners to sit in detention. In two relegation games it is against the third of the 3rd league, 1. FC Kaiserslautern. Their trainer Dirk Schuster, previously in Aue, was there live today. The first leg takes place on Friday (8:30 p.m.) in the Palatinate, the SGD can then play the second leg on Tuesday, May 24 (8:30 p.m.) in front of their home crowd.

What’s next in Aue?

Aue is relegated after a messed-up season in which some veterans were sent away and a new style of football was wanted. The move to coach Aliaksei Shpileuski didn’t work. Especially in attack, more quantity than quality was required. The departures of Florian Krüger and Pascal Testroet, who now scored for direct competitor Sandhausen, could not be compensated. Now it’s about the announcement of the new coach, it should be Timo Rost from third division promoted Bayreuth. Who puts together the new squad? Sports director Pavel Dotchev or a newcomer? That doesn’t seem to be entirely clear at the moment.
