According to the first results of the Turkish presidential election, current President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is leading. According to state broadcaster TRT Haber, Erdogan currently receives 49.84 percent of the vote, compared to 45.72 percent for his challenger Kemal Kilicdaroglu. According to Halk TV, 1.1 percent of the votes have now been counted.
