Serious motorcycle accident at a dangerous intersection in Langemark

The motorcyclist who was on the road alone was thrown tens of meters away and ended up in the canal. He would be in mortal danger.

The two people on the other motorcycle, a middle-aged couple, fared better. The man driving the vehicle was unharmed. His wife sustained injuries and was taken to hospital. The public prosecutor’s office appointed a traffic expert. The area is closed to all traffic.
