In the house of 21-year-old Sascha and her parents there is a white chair that no one is allowed to sit on anymore. It belongs to her brother Lars Bussing (25). He was a train driver and died in August after an accident at a railway crossing. “We add a glass of water. And just pretend he’s still there.” Lars was not the first to die from such an ‘unnecessary accident’ and probably not the last: “This could happen to anyone. And it has to stop.”
