The general assembly with extraordinary elections, planned to be held in Sakaryaspor on December 19, 2025, was postponed until today due to the lack of candidates and the lack of a sufficient majority. Zengin’s candidacy was announced to the public after Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yusuf Alemdar met with Sakaryaspor Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club (SBBSK) President Enes Zengin before the postponed congress.
Enes Zengin, who was elected as the only candidate in the extraordinary general assembly held today, became the 47th president of Sakaryaspor with the votes of the delegates.
