The northern derby in the DFB Cup semi-final of women between Hamburger SV and Werder Bremen has been overshadowed by a medical emergency. In the middle of the first half in the Hamburg Volksparkstadion it suddenly became quiet in the ranks.
On the TV images of the live broadcast at Sky, there were emergency services in the stands, which apparently took care of a viewer. As a sign of solidarity and respect, the supporters of both teams throttle the volume of their fan chants.
After all: A good minute later it went on full of volume again – an indication that the use of the helpers was completed and that the person is doing better again. However, more detailed information from the Hamburgers failed to materialize.
