The impressive catch-up of THSV Eisenach in the handball Bundesliga against Wetzlar was unfortunately not the focus of the game. There was a medical emergency.

The game between HSG Wetzlar and THSV Eisenach in the Handball Bundesliga (HBL) was interrupted by a medical emergency in the second half. In the 42nd minute, at 21:20 for Wetzlar, the game had to be stopped so that paramedics could provide a data subject.

The fans of both teams set their support during the treatment. After several minutes, the encounter could be continued. Information about the person’s condition was initially not available.

In terms of sport, Eisenach prevailed just 31:30 (13:17) after an impressive catch -up. The guests were already 7:14 in the first half, but turned the game in the last few minutes. The outstanding player was national player Marko Grgić, who contributed significantly to victory with 13 goals.

Due to the success, THSV Eisenach climbs to ninth place in the table, while Wetzlar is now ranked 13th.
