TOLessandro D’Avenia, Donatella di Pietrantonio and Francesca Mannocchi are the winners of the sections dedicated to children of Elsa Morante Prize 2025. An edition, that of this year, dedicated to 40 years by the disappearance of the famous writer.
The jury of the prize, composed of Marco Cerbo, Enzo Colimoro, Lino Guanciale, David Morante, Tiuna Notarbartolo, Antonio Parlati, Alfredo Rapetti Mogol, Fiorenza Sarzanini, Teresa Triscari, unanimously decreed i Three winning books of the sections of the Elsa Morante Ragazzi prize. Resist heart (Mondadori) by Alessandro D’Avenia wins the “Elsa Morante Ragazzi Prize – knowledge”. TO Fireflies, squaletti and a little pasta (Salani) by Donatella di Pietrantonio, on the other hand, is the “Elsa Morante Ragazzi – narrative” prize. On my land (De Agostini) by Francesca Mannocchi wins the “Elsa Morante Ragazzi Prize – The story”.
These books will be read by thousands of young readers in Italy and in the world that make up the “Morante network”.
