The titles were removed from social service X’s URL sharing connection in October.

Elon Musk wanted to improve the app’s aesthetics, but the change turned out to be impractical. Ron Sachs

The Tesla millionaire who bought messaging service X Elon Musk states in X that he plans to return the titles In connection with URL sharing in the next update of the application.

The headers were removed from previews of the website shares in October, as Musk felt it would improve the app’s aesthetics. Now Musk plans to return them.

Previously, the website sharing publication also showed the title of the shared website under the header image.

At the moment, the title is not shown, but the publication only shows the title image and the domain to which the link leads. Users had to click on the link to find out the title of the story or website. For this reason, many users started to manually write titles for their website shares.
