Ex-boxer Elina Gustafsson says she got into the middle of a fight between two previously unknown men on a tram in Helsinki.

The ex-boxer noticed two men arguing with each other in the tram. According to him, one of the men was heavily intoxicated, while the other seemed lucid. The barrage of words between the men gradually intensified.
– I could see that the atmosphere was starting to tighten all the time. Suddenly they were at each other’s throats, me in between, he describes the situation.
Gustafsson says that he acted purely reflexively in the situation. In addition to him, two other men intervened in the situation and started to calm the parties.
– There was no way they were going to let go (let go) and just attacked again and again until I made eye contact with that drunk and was like: “Hey, there are children here, you don’t want to be such an example here”.
After this, the man calmed down. Gustafsson says that the man told him:
– You are absolutely right.
After this, Gustafsson urged the men to leave the tram. He recalls that especially the party that was on the other side was visibly furious at the situation.
– You can see it in the eyes when a person completely loses control and is overcome by a shocking feeling.
Gustafsson says that at the same time there was a group of suspicious people next to him, who repeatedly emphasized that the police should not be called to the scene.
Eventually the men went outside to sort out their differences.
“Apparently, in the end, this drunk had a pretty hard time,” says Gustafsson.
