A plan that makes the neighbors come together more often, participate and participate in decisions, whether young people are more involved in the neighborhood? Or an idea to make the street greener, or the neighborhood safer? From today you can go to Loket D with these ideas. This counter will help the plans with a maximum of € 15,000 per plan per year. In total, € 1.5 million is available.
Loket D is an initiative of the VFonds in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK).
Minister Judith Uitermark (BZK): “We make our society together, everyone has a role and responsibility. People can do a lot themselves. And luckily many people and organizations already take this role, based on involvement in their city, neighborhood or each other. This creates wonderful initiatives, from the power of people themselves, which make our society and democracy stronger. We want to support and further strengthen that. Loket D makes this possible. ”
Participate, join in the conversation and participate
Loket D is specially set up for small, local initiatives. For example, a plan that brings together young and old. Or that makes the street more lively, greener or safer. Or people learn to use their voice. It is about ideas that come from the neighborhood and where people can participate, join in the discussion and participate in decisions. That is what democracy is all about. Think of initiatives about how you treat each other and what role you have in the neighborhood. How young and old can make their voice heard or how the neighborhood becomes safer.
This makes Loket D a 1st accessible way to continue citizenship. The minister wants to make this cooperation more sustainable and further broaden. By offering room with the co -authorities, funds and companies to support and support them’s own initiatives. And by strengthening new ways of influence and control of citizens. That should strengthen the power and basis of our society and democratic constitutional state.
