Dutch supercar Donkervoort to the United States | Financial

The crossing to the American market is remarkable, because Donkervoort is already struggling in Europe to deliver a car to the customer on time. European car enthusiasts have to settle for a delivery time of two years.

“Our cars have never been sold in America until now,” says managing director Denis Donkervoort. “The fact that we are now entering the American market is purely due to the continuing demand.”

The American customer can buy the Donkervoort from $240,000. This excludes options, taxes and fees.

Sales and maintenance of the Donkervoort in the United States are carried out by partner Bespoke Import Group, with whom the car manufacturer from the Flevopolder has a partnership. The first car will soon be delivered in Florida. Two other Donkervoorts are shipped to Colorado and California.
