Dutch-Flemish government summit in Den Bosch | News item

On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, a delegation from the Dutch and Flemish governments will meet in Den Bosch. The theme of the government summit is promoting good cooperation in many areas. It is the sixth edition of the summit, which is held back and forth in the Netherlands and Flanders.

Prime Minister Rutte and the Dutch delegation will meet Flemish Prime Minister Jambon and the Flemish ministers on Tuesday afternoon at the Noordbrabants Museum in Den Bosch. Here the ministers meet each other during various bilateral meetings. The conversation between Prime Minister Rutte and Prime Minister Jambon focuses on topics such as climate, energy, the European economy and security.

Other topics on the agenda during the summit include cross-border cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, the labor market, housing, energy, climate, sustainable mobility, nitrogen, economy, agriculture, education, culture and science. The summit will be concluded with a joint working dinner, which will also be attended by the Commissioner of the King of North Brabant.
