Dutch darts players cannot compete with Wales without Van Gerwen | Darts

First in Frankfurt Danny Noppert lost to Gerwyn Price (4-1) and later Dirk van Duijvenbode against Jonny Clayton (4-2), so that a decisive third game was no longer necessary. Wales face England or Australia in the final.

Price, the number 2 in the world, had little trouble with Noppert. The Welsh darts player led 3-0 and then had to leave a leg to the Dutchman, but then finished it off via double 13.x

Van Duijvenbode replaced Michael van Gerwen. The best darts player in the Netherlands had to undergo an operation on his right wrist. Van Duijvenbode was level with Clayton for a long time, but saw his opponent use his first match dart at a 3-2 score.

Earlier on Sunday, the Dutch duo had defeated Daryl Gurney and Brendan Dolan from Northern Ireland.
