A good week after the highlight of Copper Mountain, ski racer Lena Dürr achieved the next top 10 placement in the giant slalom.
In Tremblant, Canada, the 34-year-old fell from ninth to tenth place in the second round on Sunday, but confirmed her good form in the discipline.
Last weekend, Dürr came sixth in the USA and celebrated her best career result to date in the “Giant”.
The victory went to Julia Scheib, the Austrian won ahead of Sara Hector (Sweden/+0.57 seconds) and the New Zealander Alice Robinson (+0.78), who had won the first giant slalom in Tremblant the day before.
Nina O’Brien (USA), third in the first run, was eliminated after a driving error. Ski queen Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) had to settle for fourth place in the province of Quebec (+1.17).
Slalom specialist Dürr (Germering), only 21st on Saturday, was 2.10 seconds short of the winner. Fabiana Dorigo (Munich) came 23rd, young star Emma Aicher (Mahlstetten) missed the second round in 36th place.
