It is unbelievable if RTL 4 actually chooses Duncan Laurence as coach of The Voice of Holland, says Evert Santegoeds. “He has shown with Mia & Dion that he cannot do that!”

TV authority Tina Nijkamp has discovered through a spy who will probably be the four new coaches of the controversial The Voice of Holland, namely Anouk, Davina Michelle, Duncan Laurence and Rolf Sanchez. Only one senior singer with an incredible amount of experience and also three guppies, including Mister Paniekattack.

Damn

Private boss Evert Santegoeds really doesn’t think it sounds good. “I now have my doubts, especially about the names of all the coaches that are there. If it really is the case that Duncan Laurence becomes a coach… Well, if someone is not a coach, as we saw with Mia & Dion, then damn it is Duncan Laurence.”

Duncan has proven to that Eurovision group that he is a horror coach. Evert continues in the podcast Strictly Private: “Someone who is only concerned with himself. That seems like something to take a quick look at before you go into business with it, apart from the fact that I never find him very strong verbally.”

‘He can’t’

RTL 4 must immediately hold a crisis meeting to reconsider his appointment, Evert seems to want to say. “I don’t think he should become a coach, because if there is one place he has shown that he cannot do that, then it is there.”

There are too many guppies anyway, says the Private Boss. “You do miss someone older. In England that is Tom Jones. In every jury there is simply an old hand in the profession who should look at it with his experience and I miss that in this company.”

Ben Cramer

Which senior star would Evert, also a senior himself, portray? “Well, Ben Cramer registered very modestly, but I actually wouldn’t think that was such a strange choice. I would grant him it and he is a man who has been in showbiz for fifty years.”

RTL denies everything, says Tina. “RTL denies it. We’ll see how or what. End of year or beginning of next year if it comes on TV.”
