On the occasion of the Italian Grand Prix, the Desmosedici GPs of Marc Marquez and Pecco Bagnaia have a special outfit. For the creation of these liveries, the ten most iconic liveries in the history of Ducati presented in the thousand examples of the 100 Collection were joined together in a single, great design masterpiece that could only be dedicated to the premier class

The circuit of Mugellothe perfect stage for Desmosedici GPwas colored with history and art thanks to Ducati. It has been rumored for some time now that it would be a great coup, but here Ducati, for its Centenary, has decided to create something truly special. An intense story, that of the Borgo Panigale factory, which is told specifically among the 10 examples of the 100 Collection. From the memory of Franco Uncinito that of Cook Neilsonpassing through Mike Haiwood And Bruno Spaggiari…the creation of a collection for true fans of the Borgo Panigale company. Finally, the surprise that amazed the public at Mugello: the new livery for the premier class is here and is full of details to observe closely.

work of art

The livery of this MotoGP should not be observed from afar, because they are the finer details to make it its true essence. This graphic contains all ten historical liveries that make up the 100 Collection; everything, obviously, has been designed not to affect the millimetric aerodynamics or the racing materials that make up the official MotoGP. Among the salient details stands out the glitter: the graphics celebrating the Centenary and the dates 1926-2026 are made with a special glitter paint, a reference to the historic 750 Imola Desmo livery from 1972. Another irresistible reminder is the vintage windshield, where the oval number plate and the vintage font recall the great races of the 70s.

ducati family

In Ducati, as we know, the component of a slightly Italian romanticism has always been felt. The motorbikes are created in Italy, in a factory in Bologna: they are born and grow as the result of projects, sweat and a lot of Italian pride. In our country, family is a serious thing and Ducati is a big family in which each member has their fundamental role. For this reason they wanted to include a tribute to company employees: among the historical graphics, the designers managed to make the names of the faces of Ducati coexist on the fairing, transforming the motorbike into the symbol of community of Borgo Panigale.

The touch of Ugo Nespolo

For the occasion, the Mugello straight was transformed into a art gallery in the open air. The exclusive works of the Turin master Ugo Nespolo, a great and fervent protagonist of contemporary art Ducatistawelcomed guests with unmistakable colors and lines. The Tuscan route thus became the setting for a total revelation of art: both the 10 liveries of the 100 Collection, both the two motorcycles of the premier class, crowning the union between company history, art, collectibles and MotoGP speed.
