“The whole adventure with U2 had not seen anyone coming, either. But gradually that international adventure is the curiosity very fueled to see what else there is to do in the world,” Van den Berg said about his approaching farewell at Krezip. “I have nothing concrete yet, but it is true that you cannot enter into a new adventure if this is not yet closed properly.”
Krezip and drummer Bram van den Berg definitively apart: ‘Swallow for a moment’
Krezip announced earlier on Thursday that Van den Berg will stop the band. He is still playing at Pinkpop this weekend and during the Ziggo Dome concert in December.
The drummer replaced Larry Mullen Jr. during the U2 concert series in Las Vegas from September 2023 to March 2024. Van den Berg came to his temporary job through Martin Garrix, who introduced the drummer and the band to each other.
