A 42-year-old drug dealer from Son en Breugel has to go into jail for three years if it is up to the public prosecutor. According to the officer, the suspect must be punished for the fact that he continues to deal with drugs. The defense of the suspect, in which he confessed to guilt and said he wanted to get rid of his addiction, called the prosecutor a play: “Enough is enough.”
The suspect, Jeffrey, was already in court for the fourth time in ten years because he would have acted in drugs from January to the beginning of September 2024. He is also accused of selling from his house on Mercurystraat in Son Vapes.
Furthermore, 139 grams of cocaine were found in his home. H. admitted almost everything, hoping that no ‘Schrikeis’ would come out. He said he was tense and that he was not waiting for a return to prison.
H. was only cold in January 2024 – after an earlier conviction – when he couldn’t leave it again. The man has worked well in debt over the years and needed money, he stated, to be able to pay it. But also to be able to take care of his mother, with whom he lived together.
H. started selling Vapes, for 20 to 25 euros each, where he would make a tenner of a profit per copy. At a certain moment, H. not only started using cocaine, but also started acting in this. According to his lawyer a few months later than the officer had established.
Tikkies for ‘dinner’
The dozens of customers bought half to a whole gram of coke, for the price of 50 euros per gram. H. would have earned 12 euros per gram. According to the police, he has raised more than 23,000 euros, the majority of which had entered his account via Tikkies, stating ‘dinner’. The officer believes that H. should repay this money.
The police were put on the trail of the drug practices by a neighbor of H.. Through Meld Misdaad Anonymous it was reported in May 2024 that the house of H. Coke was acting, that it sometimes seemed to be sale and that it was a coming and going of customers.

The neighbor also complained about an unsafe situation and that parked people were parked all over and over. For mayor Suzanne Otters of the municipality of Son en Breugel, this was a reason to lock the house for two years. The court agreed with her early this year.
Her decision also had major consequences for H.’s mother’s mother. The 76 -year -old woman is no longer allowed to enter their house in the Planetenbuurt in Son for two years. She now lives in a retirement home. The question is whether and when she will ever return to Mercurystraat.
‘Heilloess Road’
H. will be told from the court in two weeks what she thinks of the officer’s requirement. If it is up to H.’s lawyer, part of the prison sentence should be conditional. According to him, his client benefits from, for example, the probation service.
The public prosecutor previously proclaimed that this is a lovely road, because H. is not open at all: “The man does not show any behavioral change. It stops once.”
