At the Klaverpolder junction, the A17 motorway in the direction of Dordrecht was closed for a short time on Wednesday afternoon after an accident. A truck had collided with a delivery van. The driver of the bus was injured.
Rijkswaterstaat advised traffic in the direction of Rotterdam not to travel via the highway or the diversion because of the traffic on the road.
An air ambulance landed and the driver was taken to hospital by ambulance. Traffic could best detour via Breda on the A58, Rijkswaterstaat reports.
