A driver was lucky tonight in an accident at the Holsloot junction. The motorist came up in a ditch, but managed to crawl out of his damaged car.
In the driveway of the A37, the driver ended up next to the road due to an unknown cause. The car then finished upside down just above the water in a ditch. Despite the blow and the damage to the car, the motorist remained unharmed.
Due to the accident, the loop from N34 to the A37 in the direction of Hoogeveen was closed for some time.
