A driver under the influence left the road yesterday afternoon on the N33 between Gieten and Gieterveen.
The driver ended up in a ditch next to the road where there was a small layer of water. He didn’t have to go to the hospital.
The police arrested the driver on the spot for driving under the influence. It concerns a 23-year-old man from Midwolda.
