Dries Roelvink is quite shocked by the Mediarel about Tino Martin’s Shownieuws performance. Was the singer drunk or not at live television? “I can really see that immediately.”
It was astonishing television a few weeks ago: Tino Martin on the Desk of Shownieuws. The singer did not come out of his words at all, seemed to talk with a double tongue and was also very blunt about Suzan & Freek. He must have been drunk again, his critics shouted. After all, there have already been incidents with a drunk Tino.
Drunk?
How does Dries Roelvink look at it? Is he worried about Tino? “I know him as my pocket and I saw his performance at Shownieuws. I maintain that Tino was not drunk that evening. He’s just hard to get out of his words in talk shows, that’s not his hobby,” he says in the newest Weekend.
“And see what happened when it was about Freek Rikkerink. Tino closed completely with the word cancer. That is because of his sister who died of that terrible disease. And that was it.”
Glance
That Tino was really not fed up, says Dries. “If Tino had drunk, I would have told you too, I would immediately see that in his glance. I think it is a shame that there is such a stamp on it now, from: Tino must have walked again.”
He concludes: “I am not saying that he had not drunk in those other videos that we have all been able to see online, but in the meantime we know that.”
