Recommendations of the Editorial team
From August 7th, “Oslo Stories: Dreams” will be released on DVD in the home cinema. The new film by the Norwegian filmmaker and writer Dag Johan Hauberud, “Dreams”, is part of his trilogy about life in large and small – and won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Festival in 2025.
Contents:
Johanne falls in love for the first time – and that in her teacher. She records her fantasies and feelings in writing so as not to forget them. When her mother and grandmother read the texts, they are shocked by the content, but soon recognize the literary potential. While they are debating whether they should publish it, all three women are confronted with their own unfulfilled dreams and longings.
“Dreams” is the third part of Hauberud’s “Oslo Stories” (after “love” and “dreams”), with which he introduces his visions of living together to a broad audience – and also discusses questions about identity and sexuality.
