The club FC Hilversum came to an end in the summer of 2024 after 118 years. “It hurts. On Saturday morning I was here at 8 a.m. and then I went home with a beer at 8 p.m. in the evening,” Sackers describes his feeling. “We went as an outing instead of the Efteling, to Hilversum.” Sackers still keeps track of the lawns, but otherwise there are only memories.
