One of the biggest bodybuilding legends, Dorian Yates, says she tested DMT, or dimethyltryptamine, a psychedelic that causes severe hallucinations.

Yates describes In his Instagram postthat the latest psychedelic experience gave him a new perspective on life.

-I felt that I had all the answers, that there was nothing to stress about. There was no death, no end, no beginning. Life is just a game where we are all involved. It doesn’t have to be taken so seriously.

Yates says he saw hallucinations with numbers and geometric patterns that he said represented the structure behind our reality.

-I saw reality through the machine, he describes.

Not alone

The benefits of psychedelics have recently been suggested in clinical trials, but the number is still relatively modest, as psychedelic research was out of the mainstream for decades because of the absolute drug policy pursued by the United States. Finland’s first scientific conference on psychedelic research was held last year in Turku. It was organized by Åbo Akademi University.

In scientific research, a person experiencing a trip is supported by an “air traffic controller” in case he or she needs mental support at some point.

Yates has previously reported on his experiments with Ayahuasca, among other things. The man emphasizes that the psychedelic experience should always be organized in appropriate circumstances.

“Psychedels can be powerful, life-altering drugs, but they should naturally be taken under control.

Yates, who turned 60 in the spring, dominated bodybuilding in the 90s, winning a total of six consecutive Olympia titles in 1992-97. The British, who lives in Marbella, has excelled in the gym and food supplement business since his sports career.
