Don’t know if it will run or not

The participation of world rally champion Kalle Rovanperä in the race in a couple of weeks is still uncertain.

Kalle Rovanperän the name appears in the participant list of the February 18th Mikkeli rally.

The reigning world champion’s name can still be found on the list of participants in the Hobby Rally Series competition, although information about the 22-year-old rally star’s participation in the Toyota Starlet has already been shot down.

It is not about the series under the National Central Association of Autosport. The World Rally Championship, on the other hand, operates under the international association of automobiles, FIA.

Don’t bother

Will Rovanperä drive in the Hobby Rally Series competition or not? It is still uncertain.

However, the organizers of the competition want to cut off the wings of one rumor.

– No one outside has made a report out of embarrassment. Kalle has registered himself for the competition, the competition manager Jouko Mähönen tells Iltalehte.

Rovanperän and the map reader Tomi Kaukonen registration for the competition has therefore come from a couple of competitors. It is still unclear whether they will eventually be seen at the starting line.

Rovanperä plans to take his Starlet out for a walk in March at the Jyväskylä SM Rally, where he will act as the zero car.

Next weekend, Rovanperä will drive his Rally1 class Toyota GR Yaris in the Swedish World Rally Championship. The 22-year-old Finn is defending his rally victory from last year.

At the opening of this season in Monte Carlo, Rovanperä placed his map reader Jonne Halttunen with second.

Kalle Rovanperä loves driving. PDO
