The 49th album released by acclaimed country singer Dolly Parton Rockstar broke the singer’s previous sales records. The 77-year-old legend also broke records on several prestigious Billboard charts.
The Grammy-awarded singer released an album with a total of 30 songs a little over a week ago. Some of the songs were Parton’s versions of others’ songs and some were completely new.
The album features one of the most famous performers and artists, such as Paul McCartney, Ringo Star, Elton John, Pink and Sting and many more.
Parton said that a rock album had been his longtime dream. He tells to People magazine that she and her husband have been rock fans all their lives. The couple has been married for 57 years.
