Dogstar release first song in 20 years

With “Everything Turns Around” Dogstar release their first single in more than 20 years. The three-piece rock band around Keanu Reeves, Bret Domrose and Robert Mailhouse was founded in the 1990s and was active until 2002. After that, there was silence around the group and Reeves was mostly seen as an actor on the big screen.

In 2022, Reeves, Domrose and Mailhouse reunited and made their way into the recording studio together. The release is the first result from the time in the studio that can be heard by the public. More tracks are to follow, as well as a tour by the trio.

As Dogstar announced on their Facebook account, they will be on the so-called “Somewhere Between The Power Lines and Palm Trees Tour” later this year. While full tour dates have not yet been announced, the info is official: on December 11th, the group will perform at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, USA. Ticket sales for this begin on Friday (July 21) at 10 a.m.

The band also played at legendary LA rock club The Roxy on Tuesday night (July 18) – it was their first home show since Dogstar’s inception. Dogstar made their first appearance since re-forming last year at the Bottle Rock Napa Valley Festival in May 2023.

Keanu Reeves is currently starring as a hitman in the action movie John Wick: Chapter 4.
