A remarkable bill, but is it justified to let women become a mother at that age with medical help? “I wish them all,” says Professor of Medical Ethics Heidi Mertes (Ghent University). “But you can wonder if this is the best way to spend the money if you know that there are large needs elsewhere in health care.” How risky is this?
