The dog of Mart Hoogkamer is starting to become a daily returning section in RTL Boulevard. Ridiculous, says Victor Vlam. “This does not yet reach the level of the village magazine of Lettelbert.”
Last week there was unprecedented much media attention for the missing of the dog of Mart Hoogkamer. That beast is right in the meantime, but even now the Showmedia doesn’t stop. According to the singer, the pet was hit slightly on the first day of his loss and that is why he visited the doctor. And RTL Boulevard picks it up.
“This goes too far”
It goes way too far, says Mediaciticus Victor Vlam. “The dog of Mart Hoogkamer receives antibiotics, reports RTL Boulevard. Every chapter in this saga – missing, medication – defies the border of newsworthiness. Yes, it is cucumber time, but this does not yet reach the level of Lettelbert’s village magazine.”
His follower Yako then: “This saga was deadly tiring and excessive … anyway 350 people (!!!) who were voluntarily looking for a dog, you don’t even see that at an Amber alert.”

Victor finds it excessive. “Really incredible. Every update is widely measured in the entertainment media. Now we know: it is pathetic.”
One Ruben then: “If you see how many people were on their feet to help search, so interested people, isn’t it newsworthy?”
Victor: “That is because of the media attention. If the dog got lost of an unknown person, that wouldn’t bring that many people up and running.”
