Private editor-in-chief Evert Santegoeds has been connected to Shownieuws for many years, but recently he suddenly also appeared in front of the RTL Boulevard camera. Would he see a switch?
Evert Santegoeds managed to generate a lot of attention in recent weeks with the images of Princess Alexia who gets into the car with singer Antoon. He even stood in front of the camera of RTL Boulevard, while that program is the big competitor of Shownieuws, to which the private boss is connected. Evert himself also looked a bit like that.
‘No question’
Would Evert actually see a switch to the much better viewed RTL Boulevard? “Well, there is no question of that? You can’t sign up for that, I think, right?” He says in the podcast Strictly private.
He continues: “No, I’ve been with Shownieuws for so long. I think it’s really fine and I’m having a great time there. It’s late, that’s true. The times of boulevard are a bit more favorable in that regard.”
Long days
Shownieuws only starts after 11 p.m., takes about 45 minutes and then he has to go home. “Yes, they are long days. Until 2 a.m.. They are long days now and then.”
The stars of RTL Boulevard can already go home at 7.30 p.m. “Yes, then you can eat something or I know a lot,” said Evert. “Here you have to take into account all day that you are still expected somewhere from eleven to twelve, but no, that is no reason to switch, as far as you can already switch.”
