Avant-garde and alternative band with a psychedelic twist, Django Django have released five new songs. “Wishbone”, “Complete Me”, “Osaka”, “Hands High” and “Lunar Vibrations” are the first part of the newly announced album OFF PLANET. This will consist of four parts and will appear on June 16th.

This makes it the UK quartet’s most voluminous release. Also British musician and actress Self Esteem contributed the vocals for the new single “Complete Me”.

Already in the past she had points of contact with Django Django. In 2017, her single “Your Wife” was released on Django-Django drummer David MacLean’s label “Kick + Clap”.

But it’s not the only feature on OFF PLANET PT.1. The songs “Hands High” and “Lunar Vibration” were created in collaboration with Refound* and Isabelle Woodhouse respectively. The rest of the songs will feature guests including Jack Peñate, Stealing Sheep and Toya Delazy.

Django Django, founded in London in 2009, have released four albums to date, most recently GLOWING IN THE DARK in 2021. Their self-titled debut record went straight into the UK Albums Chart upon release in 2012.
